Lesson 1: Slow Shutter Speed Photography

Group 3:  We started by making ghost images.

Camera Settings:
Aperture: f22
Shutter Speed 10 seconds

Instructions: One person walked / moved around whilst everyone else stayed still.

Result: The person moving appears ghost like.

We moved to a dark room to paint with light.
We used glow sticks and moved them around whilst the camera took the photo.

Camera Settings:
Aperture:  5.6
Shutter Speed: 30 seconds

with this photo we moved the camera and the glow sticks.

Group 2
We went straight to a dark room and painted with light. We used glow sticks and torches and tried to write words and draw around each other.
Camera Settings:
Aperture 5.6
Shutter Speed: 30 seconds

This is supposed to say Team 2
we need to flip some of our images over in Photoshop.
This worked well.  We wrote the word LOVE

This was our attempt at spelling TOM with lights.

This was supposed to spell X-MAS
This needs flipping in photoshop.  It spells Lawson - after Carla's favourite computer game character.
