Unit1: Exploring Craft Ideas

AO1.1 Identify sources to inspire craft ideas.  
The Powerpoint and mood board contain evidence of artist / craft research and can be found in Melissa's folder.

Melissa also participated in a guest visit from artists showcasing their video / animation work.

Melissa has completed a worksheet  reviewing the work of these artists in her folder.

AO1.2 Mood board and powerpoint evidence of ideas being researched in Melissa's folder.

Unit 2 Explore Materials & Tools to Support Craft Ideas

AO1.1: Below is evidence of craft work Melissa has completed using different tools, equipment and materials.

Unit 3: Produce Craft Work

AO1.1 Completed Moodboard and Powerpoint in Melissa's folder and in presentation of idea video portrait.




AO 1.2 Completed worksheet in Melissa's folder shows her ability to list tools / equipment required for the craft work.

AO 1.3 Tutor witness statement evidence confirms Melissa's continued ability to prepare her work area for craft work production.

AO 2.2 Melissa's ability to maintain a safe working environment - Tutor witness statement evidence in folder and section of risk assessment identifying any incidents. 

AO 2.3 Final Project: Video Portrait - Display craft idea appropriately
Melissa has made a simple video portrait about herself, starting with her childhood she then tells us what she hopes to do in the future using blue screen, video, photography and music to present her work creatively.
Her film is to be exhibited in the end of year exhibition.
