Unit 1: Explore Craft Ideas


     AO 1.1 Identify sources to inspire craft ideas mood board evidence in folder
     AO 1.2 Moodboard / PowerPoint
     AO 1.3 x
     AO 1.4 x
     AO 1.5  Idea verbally presented to tutor using mood board as guide due to being  absent during actual filming of presentations.
Absence has meant this unit has not been fully completed.


Unit 2: Explore materials and tools to support craft ideas
 AO 1 and AO2:  Evidence below of tasks completed using selected materials and tools and completed worksheets and supporting witness statement in folder to provide further evidence of assessment criteria.

Clay modelling / sculpting.  Basket at top of photo is Ainsley's - he worked with the clay to plait it, twist it and added matchsticks into the design.

Portrait Photography
Ainsley came up with more interesting and creative ideas for subjects / content, playing with perspective and positioning.

Video Portrait: Filming clips
Equipment: Camera, tripod, track, dolly, studio lights.


Garageband to compose and select music - it can be heard in final film.

AO 2.3  Final Project: Video Portrait:  
A surreal film starring Ainsley, created and edited completely by Ainsley, including music and effects.

The work will be exhibited at the end of year Art & Media exhibition evening.
